We collect information you choose to provide — such as a display name when publishing research or explanations, and your class/grade during onboarding — along with usage data (progress, scores, learning patterns) to personalize your experience. We do not currently require an email or password to use the app.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • Personalizing learning paths and recommendations
  • Tracking progress and generating performance analytics
  • Improving our educational content and platform
  • Communicating important updates about the Platform

3. Data Protection for Minors

Qubit is designed for students aged 13 and above. We comply with applicable Indian data protection regulations. For users under 18, we encourage parental oversight and do not share personal data with third-party advertisers.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We use Supabase for authentication and data management with row-level security policies to protect your information.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Supabase — database storage (published papers, research attempts)
  • Vercel — hosting, deployment, and analytics
  • Anthropic (Claude) — processes your written/spoken conversation with our AI mentor features (Feynman Mentor, Voice Lab, Chhotu) to generate responses
  • PostHog — anonymized product analytics (which features are used, not their content)

We do not sell your data to any third party.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To request deletion, email us at shailesh.tripathi2706@gmail.com with the name or details you used in the app — we will remove your published papers, research attempts, and any associated data within a reasonable time.

7. Cookies & Local Storage

We use local storage to persist your learning progress and preferences. This data stays on your device and is used to provide offline functionality.
